Getting started

Intake forms

What is the process for getting treatment?
Getting treatment is a simple two-step process. First, you'll complete a brief medical intake questionnaire for your chosen treatment. Then, the doctor will review these forms and you'll have an online consultation to discuss your needs, answer questions, and create a personalized treatment plan. If the medication is appropriate, they'll prescribe it and guide you through the next steps.
What's included in the medical intake questionnaire, and why is it important?
The intake questionnaire collects essential details about your health history, current medications, lifestyle habits, and goals, similar to the forms you'd complete at a doctor's office. This information gives your provider a clear picture of your health before your consultation, helping them prepare a more personalized and effective treatment plan. We'll also ask for a few basic personal details, such as your contact information, to ensure secure communication.
Why do I need to share my ID?
Your provider will need to confirm your identity before treating you via telemedicine to comply with medical and legal requirements. In order to confirm your identity, we need two photos: one of a government-issued form of identification, and one of your face. We'll use these photos only to confirm that the pictures match each other.
How long will it take for the provider to review my intake?
It may take up to 2 business days for the doctor to review your prescription request.

Online consultations

What should I expect during my online consultation?
Your virtual consultation acts as your appointment with the provider. They'll review your questionnaire, ask any follow-up questions, and discuss tailored treatment options based on your health and goals. It's also your chance to ask questions and understand the next steps. Most consultations take less than 10 minutes.
How will my treatment be personalized?
Your treatment plan is tailored specifically to you based on the information you share and the conversations you have with your provider. During your online consultation, your provider will discuss your needs in more detail, ask follow-up questions, and consider factors like your preferences and typical treatment response. All of this helps create a plan that's safe, effective, and aligned with your individual health goals — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Do I need to schedule a telehealth appointment?
Depending on your state of residence, you may be required to schedule and attend an audio/video call with the doctor as your online consultation, though many states allow asynchronous messaging as an alternative, which is done directly in your patient portal.
Why wasn't my prescription request approved?
Prescription requests are carefully reviewed by one of our prescribers to determine if treatment is appropriate. If your request was not approved, the medication may not be deemed a good fit for reasons that range from health concerns, allergies, or possible side effects.

All patient information is kept highly confidential, as we are 100% HIPAA compliant. For that reason, the prescribers do not provide the customer support team with details of their decision.
What happens after my consultation?
After your visit, your provider will finalize your treatment plan and, if appropriate, prescribe medications. You'll receive updates via email on next steps. If you have questions later or need adjustments, you can easily connect with your provider for ongoing support.
How do follow-ups work?
To monitor your progress and give the doctor a chance to make any necessary changes to your prescription, follow-ups are required every 3 months for most treatment plans. These are 100% online and typically involve answering a few simple questions regarding your experience. If needed, you may have a virtual consultation with your provider like you did for your initial prescription request; otherwise, your refills will continue without change. For some treatments, bloodwork results are also required with each follow-up.

Our providers

Who will be my provider?
Our experienced prescribers are US-licensed healthcare professionals who are experienced in telehealth care and specialize in areas like longevity, hormone health, weight management, and more. Each provider is thoroughly vetted and qualified to diagnose, prescribe, and guide your treatment safely and effectively. Prescribers are assigned to review each case based on expertise, state licensing, and availability.
Are your providers licensed?
Yes. All of our providers are fully licensed in the states where they practice and meet all required medical and legal standards. This means your care is delivered by professionals with the training and credentials to provide high-quality, evidence-based treatment.
Will I see the same provider each time?
We do our best to keep your care consistent, and in most cases, you'll work with the same provider throughout treatment. If you have multiple treatments, you may have a different provider for each treatment depending on availability or specialty.
