What is Oseltamivir?
What you'll get
How to take
- • Oseltamivir works best if taken within 48 hours of developing symptoms. For active symptoms, take one capsule twice daily for five days, with or without food. For prevention after exposure, take one capsule within 48 hours of being exposed and continue taking one tablet daily for 10 days. You should always take all capsules in the cycle (10), even if you start to feel better.
- • The doctor will personalize your instructions to fit your unique needs. Details will be included in your shipment, if prescribed.
- • Always reach out to your provider if you have any concerns or need assistance.
Side effects
- • Oseltamivir is generally well tolerated. Some people may experience mild side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, or stomach discomfort—often improving when taken with food. Contact your provider if you notice any side effects that bother you or don't go away.
- • Prescription products require an online consultation to determine if a prescription is appropriate. We include regular follow-ups with your provider to monitor your response.
Only available by prescription from provider after virtual consultation. Actual product packaging may appear differently than shown.

Taking Oseltamivir
How it works
Oseltamivir works by blocking an enzyme the influenza virus needs to spread within the body. By slowing viral replication, it helps limit how severe symptoms become and how long they last. This allows your immune system to clear the infection more efficiently.
What to expect
When started promptly, many people notice milder symptoms and a shorter illness course compared to untreated flu. Oseltamivir does not eliminate symptoms instantly, but it may help you feel better sooner and reduce how long the flu lasts. Results depend on how early treatment begins and individual response.
Potential side effects
The most common side effects are usually mild and temporary, including nausea, vomiting, headache, or stomach discomfort. These are often improved by taking the doses with food. Your provider will review your health history to help minimize potential risks and ensure the treatment is safe and effective for you.
